ronics Workshop No registration is needed - it’s free. Just show up 😉
Give your child a hands-on introduction to coding\, electronics\, and rea
l-world problem solving with the BBC micro:bit. This interactive workshop
is designed for beginners and curious learners who want to understand how
technology works by building and programming their own projects. Over six
engaging sessions\, students will explore how computers interact with the
physical world. They will learn to program LEDs\, use buttons\, collect se
nsor data\, send radio messages between devices\, and even begin working w
ith Python. Each week builds on the last\, combining creativity with pract
ical STEM skills in a supportive\, fun environment. What students will lea
rn: Inputs and outputs\, LEDs and buttons Sensors and reading data Radio c
ommunication between devices Data logging and simple experiments Creative
coding projects Introduction to Python programming No prior coding experie
nce is required. Students will leave with a strong foundation in computati
onal thinking\, confidence in problem solving\, and excitement about techn
 ology.
