The Cambridge Electronics and Robotics Club (CERC) is now accepting registrations for the FIRST LEGO League 2026-27 BIOGLOW™ season.
This year's challenge invites children to explore biodiversity through robotics, coding, engineering and innovation. Working in teams, participants will design, build and program LEGO robots, solve exciting robot missions, investigate a real-world biodiversity challenge and present their own innovative ideas.
We are looking for enthusiastic children who enjoy building, creating, solving problems and working as part of a team. No previous robotics experience is required - beginners are welcome, and experienced participants will have the opportunity to further develop their skills.
Throughout the season, teams will receive mentoring from CERC volunteers and have the opportunity to compete in regional tournaments, with the possibility of progressing to national and international competitions.
Who can register?
We are welcoming registrations from children across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Whether your child is taking their first steps into STEM or is already passionate about robotics and engineering, FIRST LEGO League offers an exciting and rewarding experience.

Participants will:
- Learn LEGO robotics and programming.
- Develop engineering and problem-solving skills.
- Explore real-world biodiversity challenges.
- Build teamwork, creativity and communication skills.
- Make new friends with shared interests.
